Subject:Is Silver Money? (Revisited)
By: David Morgan, Silver Investor Overview: I just returned from the Cambridge House Investment Conference in Vancouver, BC, and found this to be one of the best precious metals gatherings ever, not so much from the perspective of a number of attendees, but from the quality of the people who did attend. Mr. Morgan makes a strong case for silver as money, as usual, by history.
I sense that silver, going forward, is becoming less and less regarded. Perception is everything, especially in terms of PM values worldwide. I think it's time to explore the world-wide perception of silver as money, or wealth, if you will; something of a National Geographic hunt, pictures and all, of examples in the world where silver is used as money today. The ports of call for this assignment spark the imagination, no? It's important to see how various heads of state around the world regard silver, too. Our mission is worthwhile and overdue. When shall we begin?
