Post Vindication

Subject:Vindication
By: Theodore Butler

Overview: New data from the CFTC, provides the clearest proof to date of a manipulation in gold, thus vindicating the long-held position of GATA (the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee). It is my hope and expectation that GATA, run by Bill Murphy and Chris Powell (Ed Steer, a director, is a close friend), will take the evidence and do everything in their power to ram it down the manipulators’ throats and end the gold and silver manipulation.

Ted Butler makes this statement:
Make no mistake, the silver market is the most manipulated market in the world. But gold is close behind.

If this is true, why the silver market?

One of the questions in my mind has always been , If these finacial institutions have such short positions on Silver and Gold why aren't they equally involved in Corn, Timber and Pork bellies.
My take is while Corn and Pork are tasty, they have never been confused with money while Silver and Gold are the Banksters only real competition.

That makes sense, buy why silver more so than gold, or is the difference negligible?

I think from the old days, Gold is more Royalty/Elite.
Silver is more for the everyday man. They really want the masses in paper and Silver is more of direct competion to that goal.
That's my crazy take on it.
By the way, Is all of Australia on FIRE? Man, that looks bad!

Another great article by Mr Butler.

I have a question regarding the Silver / gold manipulation?
Does the COMEX have any official duties in reporting such a large short position in their books or aren't they suppose to enforce / monitor the "limits", and if so, would it be worthwhile to put to them, the same list of questions that were put to the CFTC regarding the short concentration?

Hi Chiswick40, what are your thoughts about starting some action in OZ with a letter to A S I C asking them to look into this matter?
I believe that if this matter is raised with A S I C "en masse" by the many Australians on this forum, it will be another poke and another door of enquiry opening on the CFTC.

Does anyone think it would be a worthwhile avenue - Any thoughts please?

Hi Skijake
The weather we are having is horrific, floods in the north and firestorms in the south. about 200 people are dead and the stories that the survivors have told are terrifying. This is the most extreme weather I have seen in my 41 years.
You know when tragedy strikes, Aussies pull together and they vote with their wallets. There were people on the front page of the national papers on their knees crying over the loss of love ones, Firemen said the ferocity and movement of the fires and the speed that it moved was unreal and uncharacteristic.

I am sure you know what I mean with 9/11

Hi Mizou
Not a bad idea...let me toss it around.
