Subject:Danger Zone
By: Theodore Butler Overview: In simple and absolute terms, the gold and silver markets are in the most dangerous position since I’ve followed them, or more than 35 years. I have definitely not turned bearish on silver, nor am I expecting lower prices in the long term. Although I expect near term volatility to increase, I’m more bullish on silver than before, if that’s possible. Then, what’s the danger? Link: http://news.silverseek.com/TedButler/1200422216.php |

Ted,
Could you explain what happened with a similar situation in the 80's, when the Hunt Family owned so much silver and/or silver contracts. They cornered the market and the "inside" traders apparently, squeezing them to the point the Feds got involved. I doubt the Hunt's did anything illegal, but they were about to cost a lot of others a lot of money. Perhaps you could compare the two. I think the situations are similar in that the "inside" traders are getting cornered, and want someone to bail them out again. Trekker |
