Subject:Even My Mom Does Not Understand!
By: Jason Hommel, Silver Stock Report Overview: There are a lot of people who DO understand what I'm doing with silver auctions, and I fully appreciate all of your support. But many don't, and I'm here to explain to help them. Link: http://news.silverseek.com/GoldIsMoney/1232224159.php |

Smart lady. Genuinely accomplished, also.

We are a fickle bunch eh? Heck, I have a small glass counter at a local flee market that I sell a bit of silver and gold out of. It's more or less a right off for the extras that can be involved, safes, security and such.... hey, it's a heck conversation starter if nothing else and gets folks at least thinking about real money. SO, while I do understand his points, you can only push on string so much.
Hey, it's still a somewhat free country, he has the right to do what he thinks is best. And at least he is open about what he is doing.... We have all heard about the "transparency" issues on Wall St.

It's still a free country [such that it still is]. If Jason wants to sell his silver, so be it. I think folks are a little put off by him being able to bid on his own auctions though. Kind of skews it some.
I don't know......I'm not an auction buyer so I really can't have an objective opinion about it. I prefer a straight up buy, this much for this much. Takes away any uncertainty. But that's just me.

I admire that he admits his errors to an extent, and maybe it's just me, but sometimes I get the impression he's still trying to convince himself.....

I don't buy his story, and getting mom involved? Get real! Spot +1.50 on $11 silver is a far cry from his meager 1% he states also. I'll buy elsewhere thank you! My dealers don't call me up after a transaction and tell me they just raised their price! Call it shill or not, if you raise your prices at the last minute to insure a profit, I don't know what else it could be. And doing the public a favor buy insuring to be profitable, thus to be able to continue selling, thus helping the public even more? Come on! What a crock!Businesses go out on a limb for profit everyday. They post a product for a price, which contains a margin of profit,,,,,but what if it does not sell? No profit! Either post an auction, leave it alone, and take what you get, or set a price and sell what you can, anything else comes across as dishonest!
