Post Silver Available Amidst Shortages

Subject:Silver Available Amidst Shortages
By: Jason Hommel, Silver Stock Report

Overview: I'm auctioning silver to buy more silver. I'll try to use the proceeds to buy more silver in the form of the cheaper 1000 oz. bars, while they last, and have it fabricated into more 1 oz. rounds or bars. The 100 oz. bars command a high premium at ebay.com or elsewhere.

Question Silver Available

Thing I don't understand is how is it that "Tulving" is offering $2 to $3 over spot for these auctions when he is currently selling bars for $1.49-$1.99 over spot?

Seems out of whack to me. Dealers don't sell for less than they are being said to being buying at?

What am I missing here?

Why do you not post proof of that?

Question Silver Available

Since I am not a computer whiz at pasting addresses and assumed most here follow the blogs, I thought it was a legitimate question.

As he has posted that Hans Tulving has offered $2-3 over spot for his auctions and anyone can visit the Tulving site and see that Hans is selling bars for $1.49 and $1.99 over spot, seemed a fair question.

Not looking for an argument, had a serious question as to how this could be. Mr Tulving is not to my knowledge in bussiness to lose money so how can he be offering more to buy than he is to sell.

Thought it a fair question that I was just looking for opinion on.

Default Just Perhaps...

Could be that Hans has SOME silver he can sell for "$1.49 and $1.99 over spot" and that he will come up with a new price for his next purchases. I have some silver I will sell for spot plus X. BUT i also have some I won't even sell for spot plus 5X.
Your question is legitimate, but perhaps assumes too much. With the fluctuations in prices, I think we will see lots of movement in the buy and sell prices from week to week and may be even day to day.

According to silverbids.com, premiums on eBay range from 25% for 100oz quantities of silver, to 35% for 1oz gold, and up to 50% plus for 1oz of platinum. If you can find metal for less, buy it now!

Default Silver Available Amid Shortages

Isn't it interesting that these media advisors and pundits are starting to auction off their metals? These very people actually used to make fun or put down those selling on eBay. Now, with onsite auctions from these people; it looks like eBay and auctioning really IS the open market!
