Until Northwest Territorial Mint proves they are a reliable supplier of Silver Bullion again through the Bankruptcy process and it proves everyone is made whole in that process, they will remain off any list provided on this forum by me.

It's one thing to try and use the bankruptcy laws to try and shield their company from this lawsuit that has nothing to do with the operation of NWTM, but the bankruptcy will once and for all show what the true financial status is for that company that has been in doubt by so many for decades and hopefully shield everyone going forward if and when they are open back up for business selling retail Silver.

APMEX has lowered their ASE premiums a little and has their Maples on sale, not as low as the other competitors, but fairly close at the Monster Box level for this sale.

Considering the number of ASE's the dealers have purchased so far this year,(22,803,500) maybe Ted Butler may have something with his theory about JP Morgan sucking up a huge pile of them as the dealers have not made a move to increase their premiums so far this year. Plus their does not seem to be any rush to purchase Maples as they have been on sale for months now. Or the other dealers learned from APMEX's example last year and are stockpiling massive amounts of ASE's for this years ROPE-A-DOPE so they will not run out either, as APMEX did not last year and was able to cash in all the way through that "shoooooortage".

With NWTM out of the picture for now, will any other dealer step up and take over that low price leaders position or hope with them out of the way they can all share in a much larger piece of the generic pie and at higher premiums.

The following links will take you to the main page for these dealers, there you are likely to find daily specials on different products such as Silver, Gold, Platinum, Palladium and Copper as well as foreign coins. Below that you will find the direct link for their web page to the individual product at the monster box level, which may include pricing for all price breaks at some dealers.

APMEX and Gainesville have lowered their ASE premiums a little and Both Gainesville and Provident are "still" selling their Maples at one price for any quantity, while both dealers are selling well below the APMEX price at the Monster box level, both are well over a Dollar less per ounce on an each basis.

Considering the number of ASE's the dealers have purchased so far this year,(24,322,500) maybe Ted Butler may have something with his theory about JP Morgan sucking up a huge pile of them as the dealers have not made a move to increase their premiums so far this year. There has only been one price increase since my last update and that was on June 25th by APMEX for their ASE, increasing it by 10 cents. All other items at these dealers has remained the same. None of the explosions in the world have caused any of these dealers to increase their premiums at all, not BREXIT or anything else including the nice increase in Silver lately. I just wanted to throw this out here since I'm sure many have been wondering after all the articles from the SILVERSELLERS warning it's time to buy and buy big. Maybe one day it will be, but there does not seem to be any stampede to scarf up the retail Silver supply just yet!!! The Dealers ordered less than 3 million ASE's from the US Mint in June and that was the first month this year they shipped less than 4 million ounce in any month. The month of July is also starting off a little slow, but that can be turned around in a hurry. The good news, the 2016 ROPE-A-DOPE keeps getting pushed back further.

Considering the number of ASE's the dealers have purchased so far this year,(26,500,500) maybe Ted Butler may have something with his theory about JP Morgan sucking up a huge pile of them as the dealers have not made a move to increase their premiums so far this year. We finally have some action on several fronts since the US Mint published that notice last week that they were suspending production of the ASE for lack of dealer demand. Dealer demand increased the next two days and now we are seeing some changes at the dealers. Only Provident so far and not in a positive way. Provident has dropped their any price for the Maple that they have been selling for several months and they also increased their spread on the ASE. Provident also dropped the sales they have been running on just about everything in house except the British Britannia and one ounce mixed rounds and they just added 100 ounce bars at 39 cents for mixed bars. Everything else has gone back to their regular prices or higher than before. With sales being so sluggish in general, I personally would be a little bit wary of Provident right now. I know, I keep posting their sales, but Tulving, Bullion Direct, NWTM, who's next??? I know of one dealer advertising ASE's for $2.29 for any quantity, but I don't know them well enough to post them. Are they really reliable, I mean who can you really trust anymore other than a walk in and carry out transaction from a long time established dealer who you believe you can trust to not sell you some fakes. And everyone worries about getting screwed at SLV or the COMEX. Trusting our online dealers has cost stackers between $60 and $70 million so far between the above three dealers when it's all said and done. And for years everyone has been warning me about the hazard of owning a few hundred shares of SLV. Let's see, it's been about 8 years now and my shares haven't evaporated yet. While litterally millions of Dollars in stored goods at Bullion Direct and NWTM seemed to have done just what they say will only happen to SLV shares and they might be right one day, maybe...

With NWTM out of the picture for now, will any other dealer step up and take over that low price leaders position or hope with them out of the way they can all share in a much larger piece of the generic pie and at higher premiums.

Something happened and one of these dealers decided to increase his ASE premiums on Friday and so did just about everyone else. Not a huge increase, at least not to start and only for ASE's.

Provident - APMEX - Gainesville all increased their ASE premiums by 30 cents.

As a reminder, you can now buy a 500 count box of generic rounds for $1,000 less than a box of ASE and a one ounce round from $2.50 - $3.00 less than a single ASE. Something to think about, especially for those buying smaller quantities.

Andy Hoffman keeps suggesting the world is coming to an end on a daily basis and pitching his dealership so I went out there to see how it works. Not a pleasant experience at all unless you need to talk to a salesman to place an order.
There was this sign up process that didn't allow me access to the online ordering system and it did allow me to actually log in after a day or so when my application was approved!! However it did not provide any method of logging out, so I was forced to contact a live person who I was trying to avoid as many will as well so that was my intent. I was told they are just getting up to speed with an actual online ordering system and they haven't yet fixed the option to log off their system but expected that to be fixed in a few days. As far as actually being able to place an online order, he said it might take a couple more weeks. The log out function did appear after several days and a few weeks later the online orders function looks like it is actually working, however I haven't tried it with them and won't be ordering anything from this dealer myself. There is mention of a sales contract with them and I asked what that was all about and I was told as a new customer I would have a $5,000 limit on first time orders. He didn't say there would be any exceptions to that limit if I was to place a phone call into a sales person, but that was the limit for an online order(approximately 200- 250 ounces of Silver). I've seen other online dealers that place limits on their customer, I just have never dealt with any. I have an issue with their web page as a potential security problem. I don't know what they are up to, but Norton password manager will not fill-in a password and it automatically post a caution warning flag indicating the page is suspect no matter which page you are on with the following message. •Computer Threats: 1 - •Identity Threats: 0 - •Ecommerce safety threats: 1. They have to know it's popping up for customers and don't care. I would continue to leave them off the list of dealers to compare as their prices are not competitive, but for those not seeing their prices might be tempted to try them on for size. Buy where you want, but beware of the price you'll have to pay for their services. I will include their current prices, but not their actual direct product links. If anyone wants to try them on for size, read the above and do it on your own, milesfranklin.com. If they fix whatever they are doing that is causing these warning notices from Norton, I'll add their direct links.
