The US Mint states they will post their days activities at 5PM each day and of course we all know that is not the case, but they are definitely known for a little dramatic flare and today might be another one.

as on Thursday 2/25/2016 they have shipped 4,045,500 ounces in February and a cool even 10,000,000 YTD and they still have two more shipping days left in this month.

This is a good start and more than they shipped in the first two month of 2014 and 2015.

The highest two month start was back in 2013 when they shipped 10,866,500 ounces.

Don't get too excited over this number as it only represents how many ASE's the big dealers have ordered and not how many they have actually sold.

The nice thing right now is, the premiums are getting closer to normal levels and are only about 60 cents away and this keeps inching the generic premiums down even further.

Could be stackers are not being taken for fools this year and are stocking up while the premiums are down before the dealers try and take advantage of them again.

One thing is for certain, the stackers are buying less than the dealers or the premiums would already be on the rise.

I can't wait to see what they use for this years ROPE-A-DOPE campaign

Total shipped in February was 4,782,000 for a YTD total of 10,736,500. Only 130,000 ounces shy of the 2013 two month record and well ahead of last year.

You have to love the person that posts the US Mint numbers shipped. They posted an even 12,000,000 shipped earlier this month for a YTD number.

As of Friday March 25, the US Mint has shipped 3,263,500 ASE's for the month and 14,000,000 YTD

The US Mint did not post any additional shipments for the last two day's of the month so the above numbers stand for March.

The US Mint shipped 115,000 ASE's on April 1st and 14,957,500 YTYD
