Although I am sure there will be some silver in the non-circulation commemorative coins,
I doubt if there will be any in the two billion circulation coinage.

We are both sorry about that.

There could be 2 billion circulation if they were fractional.

The article said 5 and 10 rupee coins for circulation. 10.00 INR=0.183968 USD. They would be tiny coins to be worth 9 to 18 cents. Maybe I am reading it wrong or using the wrong conversion.
Or maybe a silver dot on a larger base metal coin.

So the biggest asses in the forum are combining forces?
    Good for you.
However you bugsters better not jump to any rash conclusions.
Shouldn't you check if the coins are silver colored or not,
before any more snideness from your pit?

Why should ANY further investigation be required? We've already established that the OP misread the linked story, the story has no mention of silver coins.

Shouldn't you check if you have any facts to go on? Before you tell everyone what you "know" about the market?

I suppose that would be out of character for you.
