What's wrong with a la-z-boy. With that stick in your ass you should try one, it might help.

LOL!!!This message is hidden because ~G~ is on your ignore list.
I'm sure whatever you had to say was deeply profound.
LOL!!!
Apparently you don't live in the South. Some home owner blows away a burglar and it's on the news. A store owner does it and it's on the news. If granny does it, it's on the news for day's.
You can buy any kind of gun you want in my state, except a full automatic and you don't need a license. If you want to carry a concealed weapon, fine, just apply, go through a background check, attend a class and your all set to Stand Your Ground on the Streets as well as in your car and house. I thought about getting one, but I don't want to be on a register as to who owns what, just in case. I also don't think I'd ever carry one unless things started to get ugly out here in the suburbs. If they got that bad, I don't think I'd be leaving home with anything less than my semi-automatic rifle and a pistol, license or not.

Not sure where the OP is getting his info cause last i checked the Justice system of the U.S. is what most Canadian citizens are crying for.
Here in the "great" white north our justice system is a JOKE. it is an insult to victims and their families. To often Murder cases are being delt with by a slap on the wrist 3-5 year sentence. Murder is a 25-life crime and nothing short of it.
In the case of the OP the man who shot his weapon should have his weapon taken away and have to do some sort of counselling. He obviously doesn't have the composure or training to own a weapon.
All in all both systems have major flaws. I would prefer the government of Canada to adopt some of the same laws from the states from a conviction standpoint.
ALso Im not sure if i buy into everyone has the right to own a gun. I mean thats just putting a gun in some peoples hands that have no right to use it. IMHO only people who have Served there country via Air force, army, whatever and or have training should be able to carry.
To the Op. Canadians in percentage are just as fast, lazy, and clueless as the U.S. Just to clarify We have a lot of Dumbass's up here.
Mom kills her children, herself at Florida home
Good thing dear ol' Mom wasn't a sissy!
LOL!!!
mcjoke.
p.s. -- hmmm...nope, still no mcmerican revolution. Guess all y'all will wait just a lil' bit longer.
Thanks for an honest and truthful perspective. Maple is just the sort of insane and clueless individual that you would not want to be armed.
As far as thinking that only ex-military should be able to own and carry guns, sorry, but I'll have to disagree on that on.
There are many qualified gun owners that have not spent time in the military.
Maple will never debate using all the information posted because he really is an insane and disfunctional person.
Well, at least they are making effort. They will however, be easy pickins for the U.S. military should they ever decide that armed citizens are a threat. The real problem for the military will be the millions of angry nutcases who decide that they want to be snipers. As we have seen in Lybia and now in Syria, the only way to root them out is to destroy the buildings they are in. I doubt the U.S. military would reduce buildings to rubble but anything is possible. If Obama gets re-elected we may see a lot more of these white militia groups.
