The best stuff I have seen that actually works and you wont be spining your wheels on is colloidal silver 3000 PPM.

I think it's overkill. A bottle 16oz. or even a half bottle 8 oz. of homebrewed EIS at 20 ppm would do the trick. Might try it next summer.

Like you, I was at first going for highest ppm, until I found more info.
this site is a great educational source for colliodal sil. http://www.natural-immunogenics.com/index.php I use Sovereign Silver (their product) - purchased at a natural food store. I called them, and received detailed explanations on everything I asked about.
This link compares efficacy of different silver products:

still...would like to make my own someday, as having some is always better than none.
Go back to page 2. There is an entire thread on Making Collodial Silver ( Which should actually be called Electrically Isolated Silver). The term "Collodial" or "Colloid" denotes solids in a liquid suspension media which would eventually precipitate to the bottom of the bottle or flask.
Properly made EIS does not precipitate out of the distilled water.
Why pay Dollars per ounces when with a little self educating you can make a good EIS for Pennies per Gallon.
