    Trust The Word of God

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Theologians and scholars Who call God's definition of faith inadequate
have never come up with anything better. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Ecumenical translators
butcher this verse in their modernist bibles, removing both the subtance and the evidence. Jesus said "Never the less when the son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?" It is disappearing fast for "through faith we understand that the worlds are framed by the word of God."
For the vast majority of scientists, life came by "spontaneous generation"
in some primeval sea where dogs turn into horses and lizards into bald eagles! Sounds pretty perposterous in one sentence, but that is what their teaching your children in school? Faith in God, Faith in the Word of God, and faith in God's only begotten Son, Requires that you first take his Word
that he is your creator. 2010 was the 400th anniversary for having the whole Word of God available in the English language. It teaches that there is believing faith, saving faith, and living faith, and you can only obtain these by placing tour faith in "The Word of God." Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Ecumenical translators took the substance and evidence out of Hebrews 11. Don't let them take it out of your faith. For 400 years Christians have put their faith in the English Bible
called " The Word of God." There is only a small remenant that still do, but they trust every word of that old King James Bible. It defines faith well.
Put your faith in "The Word of God," It says "...The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us..." John 1:14. Believe Him. Trust in Him.He is "The Word of God.

    Heb 11:1-3
Faith always has been the mark of God's servants, from the beginning of the world. Where the principle is planted by the regenerating Spirit of God, it will cause the truth to be received, concerning justification by the sufferings and merits of Christ. And the same things that are the object of our hope, are the object of our faith. It is a firm persuasion and expectation, that God will perform all he has promised to us in Christ. This persuasion gives the soul to enjoy those things now; it gives them a subsistence or reality in the soul, by the first-fruits and foretastes of them. Faith proves to the mind, the reality of things that cannot be seen by the bodily eye. It is a full approval of all God has revealed, as holy, just, and good. This view of faith is explained by many examples of persons in former times, who obtained a good report, or an honourable character in the word of God. Faith was the principle of their holy obedience, remarkable services, and patient sufferings. The Bible gives the most true and exact account of the origin of all things, and we are to believe it, and not to wrest the Scripture account of the creation, because it does not suit with the differing fancies of men. All that we see of the works of creation, were brought into being by the command of God.

    Mattew 5:48

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

    Perfect

Jesus knew no believer could be sinlessly perfect in this life

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Nevertheless, this must be the standard and the goal--not for gaining salvation, but for living the Christian life. The word perfect also can be understood as "complete" or (fully mature,)
but this state is no more attainable than sinless perfection--in fact, they are really the same.
We do have such a standing in Christ, and we should perpetually seek to fullfill this standard by God's help.

    Matthew 5:43-48
The Jewish teachers by “neighbour” understood only those who were of their own country, nation, and religion, whom they were pleased to look upon as their friends. The Lord Jesus teaches that we must do all the real kindness we can to all, especially to their souls. We must pray for them. While many will render good for good, we must render good for evil; and this will speak a nobler principle than most men act by. Others salute their brethren, and embrace those of their own party, and way, and opinion, but we must not so confine our respect. It is the duty of Christians to desire, and aim at, and press towards perfection in grace and holiness. And therein we must study to conform ourselves to the example of our heavenly Father, 1Peter_1:15, 1Peter_1:16. Surely more is to be expected from the followers of Christ than from others; surely more will be found in them than in others. Let us beg of God to enable us to prove ourselves his children.

    1Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
1Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Truly a hard row to hoe for Christians living in the world.

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
