Subject:Recent Volatility in Metals Nothing to Fear
    By: Dr. Jeffrey Lewis

Overview: Recently, the metals markets have become far more volatile, often rising and falling upwards of three to four percentage points in just one day. That volatility, however, is nothing you should fear. In fact, it’s mostly due to the extreme attention being paid to the metals markets.

Absolutely right. It seems to me that the Fin Reg provisions will finally break the log jam and require position limits in the COMEX, transparency in the OTC and limits on bank prop trading. Bravo! Who knows if the big short positions are attempts at manipulation, or if the banks are hugely net short. Frankly who cares? The good news is that we will find out what is going on. That in itself is a good thing. The legislators probably don't even know the repurcussions of what they have wrought. All we want to know is the truth. This is the millennium of the individual, not the nation state, not the political party. This is where we, the people, take back control of our destiny. This little silver deal is just a small part of a much bigger picture.
