Talking How I "lost"...20 Free Eagles!

I just talked my in-laws into buying gold, before moving to another country.
I suggested gold and not silver for sheer portability.
They know very little about all the ins and outs of PMs.
But insisted they lockdown some pm’s “before it gets bad.”

They wanted to buy 6 oz. of gold. So, I called around to arrange the purchase with some local dealers.
I asked them all "what can you guys do, to get me to bring my inlaws to your shop instead of to another shop."
One of them offered to give me 1 silver eagle for every Gold eagle they bought, if I would bring them to his shop and not to one of his competitors. “A bird dog fee.”

His rate for Gold eagles was $70 above spot… not too shabby…
When we got there, my in-laws told me they changed their minds…
Not wishing to pressure them into buying something they did not want,
I shrugged and I said “Ok, we can always just go to lunch.”

They said “Nooo, we don’t want to buy 6 gold eagles…but rather 20 gold eagles.”
    And so they did!

That’s how I received 20 absolutly FREE silver eagles last week… Wooohooo!
I felt like an ancient Hebrew the week before the first passover!
"Here, I have too much gold, want some silver too?"

    However,
    Tragically,
    This week end,
    We went out fishing!

While in the boat, we got stuck in some terrible swells!
SUDDENLY, All his gold and all my free silver fell overboard into the lake…
    Gone… All of it…. Gone…

    The moral of this story:
    It pays to ask!
    but not to fish!

    or
    If you don't ask...You don't get...

Another boating accident resulting in lost bullion?!?!

    I can't take it anymore.

I am never setting foot in another boat again. Too risky.

Hey I'm scuba diver. Would you mind telling the exact location where those went overboard. Ha ha

Nice one. I personally managed to convince my bro-in-law to start buying Silver eagles every month. He is starting to buy 10 SAEs this month. Passing him the "Aftershock" book helped too.

Reminded him not to go boating but he mentioned that its his favorite past-time and he wants to know how it feels like to have a chest of silver coins! Doesn't look too promising on that front. Sighhh

As tragic as the boating loss was...

I wrote this to tell you guys about,
    "The Bird-dog fee"

For it is "yet, another way" for someone to aquire some super cheap or even FREE silver.

So, whenever you refer, always remember to ask!

Freebees are good. Been fortunate myself on occassion.
    AND
We fail to remember history guys and gals.
We should know not to take PMs close to water.
All those lost Spanish Galleons and Man O Wars sitting at the bottom of the sea. DOH!
