There's a thread started over at Goldismoney.info asking about musical instruments that people can play, the objective being to take a break from the disaster-speak for a little while I guess... I figured I might transplant that thread over here as it got a huge response over there...

I've been playing guitar off and on for about 20 years, play mostly metal and blues... I probably wouldn't still suck if I had practiced more.:)

Hey, same here! Or I used to... can't do it anymore though.

But, yeah those are my musical interests as well. I also used to play bass too, just for the heck of it. Don't ask me WHAT I used to play on that, because I'm pretty sure I didn' know either! :)

I've been playing the fiddle for 17 years. I also mess around on the drums and keyboard a little.

I'm thinking about giving the banjo a try. Love the way it sounds and it seems like a challenge!

I play guitar (mostly metal) and I would say my primary instrument is piano/keyboard. I have many hardware and software synths for making soundtracks and really any kind of music period. I got a whole studio setup but I'm looking to unload a few peices of extra gear...for SILVER!! They can't keep it down forever!

T-bone. With a preference for the Bass-Trombone. Jazz, classical, rock, trance, Italian opera, I have likings for many a musical note.

But I mostly play silver chords now :D
