Does anyone know anything about these? Are they worth purchasing? It would appear they are sterling silver, so perhaps they are over-priced. But what I wonder is whether they are a recognised item, which could easily be resold later for their silver value at least.

If you're going to purchase sterling silver Olympic coins, IMO go with the Calgary 88's instead (I own a full set BTW). The reason being, is that there were a ton of Montreal 76's produced and thus their numismatic value is really poor in comparison.

The only upside to procuring the Montreal ones is if you can snag a very good deal on their melt value. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend 'em.
