The only place I've been able to find them online is Tulving. Get yours while they last. LOL Things are sure getting interesting going into December.

Main1event yet I noticed that too on their website. Glad I got a quick order in for 100 oz. last Monday. I did get an e-mail from them saying the order would be filled but apparently I was one of the last buyers. Yes December will be quite interesting. This Dubai thing just turned the heat up another notch.

US mint is just getting ready for 2010's, that's all. Any other form of silver, the dealers got all you want.

Ironically, the Dubai default will actually help the USD in the often zero sum game of global economics.

Oh is that all. LOL The US mint is a business, they sell product. When they cant sell product they lose money. The last time they suspended ASE's it took them months to start producing again.

Yes, there is alot of extra silver products out there. However, without ASE's to buy, other products will start being bought. Its happening the same way it did last year.

Kruegarrands are difficult to get. This is getting real interesting to say the least.

There are still ASE's just maybe not 2009 ASE's.

You also can click on the alert me when they get some in. Chances are if not this year they will have restock after next years customer sell.

Guys don't add to the hysteria please.

Yes you can also buy many bars. Those are cheaper to enter into the saving/trading market of silver and will equally if not more easily help you to hedge against inflation or make you some profits come Jan/Feb 2010.

Perhaps this thread should be on the coins section and say "2009 ASE's Time is running out!"

Well my email from APMEX already said this. :P

Couldn't resist guys, keep up the stacking!

wups..yeah I got ahead of myself there.

Just re-read the text.

What an odd circumstance.

Does this happen often?

Folks.. remember.. and for you new folks.. APMEX and other dealers will , in all probability. have a "pre-sale" of 2010 ASE's in late December, and they usually have them at a special "pre-sale" price with a cut of some of the regular premiums... however there is usually something like a 100 ASE minimum.

Were I you, I would not panic and buy ASE's for higher than normal premiums.

That said.. who knows what spot will be by the end of next month..

But don't forget the mint is a business run by the gov't. I hope you honestly don't expect them to run efficiently. Every other thing run by the gov't loses money, why would you expect anything different from the mint. Like I said, they are gearing up for 2010's, nothing to panic about.

I was considering buying a couple of ASEs before they were gone.
Then I read about them on APMEX's site:

http://www.apmex.com/Category/516/Silver_American_Eagles2009__Prior.aspx

"It is also the world’s only silver bullion coin whose weight, content and purity are guaranteed by the U. S. Government."

Phew! Looks like I dodged that bullet...

Just checked APMEX & they still have 156 mint tubes of 2009 SAE's available, although they certainly are sold out of individual 2009 SAE's

My bad, they aren't in mint tubes. They're in PCGS tubes of 20.
Sorry!

https://online.kitco.com/bullion/completelist.html

It seems Kitco is out too.

They do however have Maples (ironically only for U.S. customers ?_?) and
Philharmonics. They also have some small bars, again only for U.S. customers.
This will likely pass before I have spare money again though so I'm not exactly
worried. ;)
