I'm going to make this a one day poll only. I'm asking all of you what you would do with gold eagles today? If you choose trade for silver please explain what kind of a deal you would expect on a trade of gold eagles for silver bullion (one hundered ounce bars).

Thanks in advance for your help.

I clicked before I saw that I had to 'plain sumthin'. :(

I'd expect a good deal and
one hundred ounce bars for an ounce of gold is very good.

I'd take as few as 60 rounds in trade.

Thanks for your and everyone else's replies.

No, I don't expect an even swap of one gold eagle for a one hundred ounce bar of silver. :D But I have several gold eagles I could trade and I would want to go with larger bars to cut off any extra fat out of the deal. But sure, I would take100 silver eagles for the same price as 100 ozers.

Do you base your reply on the silver/gold ratio?

"Do you base your reply on the silver/gold ratio?"

Yes, that's why I voted, "Other" as the GSR "Today" does not fit a trade out or into silver.

Close to 70, trade gold into silver, close to 50 trade silver into gold, rinse and repeat as often as possible.

It does not matter what the dollar value of the tradfe is, it's just the ratio.

Come on Joe old pal, the 70+ GSR to 50+ GSR is a money maker. Add 20 Oz per whack and no dollars for the deal. Even a Cape Coder can to that math. :p:D

I did not say unload the whole stack but it is a great play.

I also traded put 3 100 Oz Engelhards today and took 300 ASE's at 2.50 a coin. That puts me into those ASE's at 11.50/Oz. Sure, I trade silver for gold and back as well as silver for silver.

re:Rte 1 Saugus.... I smile, next time up I'll buy at Donatello's (No on 1 in Saugus) and introduce you to a fine dining restaurant with a family atmosphere.

BTW, I tip with Eisenhower Dollars. LOL

Re-read my last post, I made a buy today.
