I know there is the gold miners index ETF (GDX) and apparently Fidelity offers their Fidelity Select Gold Portfolio (FSAGX) mutual fund, which appears to be somewhat similar, but is there something like this specific to silver miners?
I am thinking about buying into Fidelity's Select Gold Portfolio and was looking for some silver exposure as well. Don't recall hearing about anything similar to the gold miners index for silver so I thought I would ask. If there isn't I was planning on going with Silver Wheaton (SLW).
These will be held in my ROTH IRA account (through Fidelity) for more of a long term investment and for greater diversification.
Thoughts/Suggestions?
