I don't know if anyone has posted this yet. They look awefully real to me. I guess they'll start issuing them after the banks open back up.
Silver is shooting up like crazy now 14.85

I havent logged in for many months but had to just to respond to this post.
These are some of the best fakes I have seen (not that im an expert). They are also a lot more humorous than the 'Amero' coins from a couple of years back. I especially like the bankers gathered together like a photoshoot of the cast of The Godfather.
Im not saying the idea of a regional currency is out of the question; however this is certainly not it.
Below are links to the notes along with the source image used in photoshopping them...

Yeah, they looked TOO REAL, to ignore. Especially being able to see the reverse side through the paper, like you can on brand new bills. I was sceptical when all the men were bankers, not presidents.
I guess this has been around since early June, and haven't seen anyone de-bunk them yet.
Time will tell! All conditions are set up for them to be real...

Thats the wrong treasure's autograph for todays time period, that persons autograph has not been on the currency since 2004, of course I have no idea what that person is in charge of today.

Good catch. Yeah, I'm not a real good paper money expert. I noticed there is no strip in between the paper, either.

Y'all realize that Congress would have to pass a law or two to change the currency, not to mention creating a North American Union... I think the first warning or clue we might get would be somebody introducing a Bill. Might even have to admend the Constitution, because currently as the Constitution is written the most we could do would be bring in Territories as States.. Not saying various states and provinces of Mexico and Canada might not secede, petion for status as a US territory and later for Statehood.. and that might be quicker than actually passing an admendment to the Constitution to allow for a Union of Nations or making a foreign currency legal tender here in the States.. but I bet something like that would make the MSM.... well unless of course Michael Jackson rises from the dead and bumps it off the front page.
You don't think the goverment might try and ressurect Jackson just so they could sneak a North American Union pass the press and media do you? I worry about that.. I better buy some extra glov.. uhh silver

I wouldn't worry about a new currency quite this soon, there are too many barriers to overcome first. I don't think even Obowma walking on water could pull this off. The dollar is still the world reserve currency, even if many are talking about changing that. It would take years of dollar currency failure to even set the stage for this to happen. We'll see some serious inflation for years first, before the idea of a new currency can take root in enough minds for it to happen.

They did have that shiney eagle shield logos in 2004 though, so I guess if these are real they are 5 years old.

Yeah, many years ago, before 911, I used to think the same. Now I'm not surprised to see 90 degree turns come overnight. The government is operating like a bunch of back room mob bosses now. They have no respect for the Constitution, Bill of Rights or any other laws that our country was founded on.
When I read on a blog about oil tankers being used as storage tanks, a few months ago, it took 2 weeks to hit the first media source. Not all "rumours" end up panning out, but many do. This new currency being prepared for "another crisis" may just be a temporary issue. It may be a transitional currency that will be fine tuned after congress is forced to wipe the books clean. The Federal Reserve is in control of our money and our elected officials, and they'll be able to convince them to go along with the plan.
If these new bills are fakes, I'll have to admit someone took a lot of time to do this. I'm wondering how this person got hold of them, as they look like they were photographed in someones home. And the same serial numbers are on the "specimen" releases. And the specimen releases, I would think be all "0's" and not random numbers. 11180916 on the one dollar bill was interesting. Nov 18th 2009 ? Hidden date?
