View Full Version : I kick myself not buying this stock

Ford is up 850% since a few months ago.

I had $10k sitting on the sideline, and decided at that point to put it in silver and not Ford stock, instead of splitting it 50/50. Even when it approached it's low of $1.01 and hit that, the language was obvious that Ford was going to "survive" out of the big 3.

If I had split it 50/50, I would have $37,500 more (pre taxes) to invest in silver if I sold today....

I didn't trust my own judgement and got caught up in an all or nothing mentality, and now I know why volatile markets can create the most wealth in a hurry (and bury people just as quick).

I'm very happy with my investments in bullion and the advice/critiques I have received on sites like this, but I have learned a very valuable lesson about diversification that I won't make the same mistake twice, or, in other words, I learned that you can make money faster with research that can go to buy more silver when things start getting worse....
