Searching Repuable Local Dealer

I am very new to investing in silver. I have recently purchased some bars online and have a bit of 90% silver coins from my grandfather. I would like to know if their are any reputable silver dealers in the Philadelphia area so i can avoid high shipping charges and also get to know who I am dealing with. Thanks in advance.

Am not from the "city of brotherly love"...at least that's what they called Phila. when I was there in the 60's...so can't help ID + dealers for you but can wholeheartedly suggest that you visit each and then work to get to know and establish a good relationship with the ones you like.

Can't say for sure if my town has a "repuable" dealer.
Come to think of it, I'm not even sure what "repuable" is. :confused:

My advice: Just buy online. I dont buy into the "develop a relationship" thing. Basically that means buy a lot of over priced bullion until he throws you a bone or you eventually feel good spending more then you have to. Relationships work in the service industry, when you want a guy to take extra care cleaning your car, or changing your oil ect.

I found my local bullion dealer through ebay. I sorted searches till I found the guy nearest to me who was a dealer. I have bought bullion from him on ebay, and I 'pick up' to save the shipping. Nice enough guy.

Not sure where you're at in Philly, but there are tons of places. Look in the phone book, and visit some in person. I attend a monthly coin show in the Philly area, and there are 30+ local dealers every month.
