Pan American Silver Bars

I just purchased 4 100oz Pan American Silver bars From NTM and now after reading some post I find that Engelhard and Johnson Matthey are the brands to have. Have I made a big mistake? Will I have a hard time selling the Pan American Bars?

Just trying to figure out if these bars are worth having.

pan american is still a good brand, well known/established.They are definitely a known and trusted company. I would be weary of generic bars, with no names.You should have no problems selling them. 100 oz of silver is 100 oz of silver. You did good-you now have 400 oz more of silver than you had before you bought them....nice work!

James! Why did you not buy silver and lower the market LAST WEEK!
How inconsiderate not to tell us WELL BEFORE the KingJames induced drop.
But you did great with the Pan Am. bars. IF I had my choice I would buy Engelhard first, but if there were only PA available, I wouldn't complain.
ANY name brand will be fine. Someone should make a list of recognized manufacturers of rounds and bars. A starting point for newbies, so to speak.

You will be very pleased with your Pan American Bars. I am a bit of a nut for detail and most people think I eccentric but I really appreciate a good product. You will find both with the Pan American Bars. The Bullion presentation is exceptional, however I hope you are prepared to wait for your order to come in. Don’t have a melt down during the wait; you will receive your silver. Personally, I don’t mind waiting to get exactly what I want, but I am not everyone. From personal experience the delivery time is approximately 5-1/2 weeks on a 2,000 ounce order but the product is worth the wait. You will be delighted!

Thanks guys for the comments. After reading some post here I thought the sales person might have worked me over with the old bait and switch on the Pan Am Bars.

Silver Gems, I take it that you have some of the Pan Am Bars also? NTM did inform me that it would take 60 days for delivery, so I'm ready to wait. 59 days and counting:)

I have some 10oz pan am bars, they are beautiful!When it comes to buying, they are on the no hesatation list, I will buy them whenever possible.

i bought 8 5oz and 1 10 oz bar back on 03/08. i got'em last week and they look great!!....This is a good co. to deal with if you don't mind the wait...I have 10 k avaliable to perchase 500 oz this week. i'm going with nwtmint on the 100 oz bars. i never done a wire transfer so wish me luck!!..also i really want to buy on the dip, any timing advice here would help!!...let me know guys. i can wait 2 or 3 or 4 weks to buy.!!!!
