That 200 point Dow Jones Industrials average pop was a very nice psychological operation.
It came complete with anonymous voices on the (CBS) radio news programming telling us that the recovery is here!
I say Dow value will be cut in half between now and the end of May 2010 in real terms.
Since the Dow is denominated in Federal Reserve units the numeric value of the average should increase,
even as the value is cut.
For example if the value of the dollar becomes ¼ (20) of what it currently is (80.19 on the USDIndex),
a logical outcome of the Federal's quantitative easing,
then the Dow average could go to 17,000
but the value calculated in today's money would be 4,250.
The pathetic thing is that people actually believe the programming about a recovery.
Buy as much silver as you possibly can.
Especially fractional increments.
Your friends and associates will thank you as you become a mini dealer at sweet friend special prices compared to the other then available sources.
A bag of Mercury dimes with clear dates might be really handy.
I would be real happy if quarters do prove to be too large to be practical. ;)
