All I do is take these funny little rectangular pieces of paper or those electronic digits that appear on my computer screen that our zombie banks and governments call money and I turn them into silver and gold :p

What's amazing to me is:

A few more think about doing it....

More talk about doing it, but aren't really convinced....

Some even complain about doing it....

but a lot think we're out of our freakin' minds and our wonderful government is going to make everything ok....

Here we have yet another cadidate for
the "Quote of the Week!" awards!

you don't try to sell PMs at a gun show. these are two separate audiences. die hard gun fans don't give a rat's ass about gold or silver. they live by the stupid motto...'you can't eat gold'. most people who like guns are not sophisticated investors because most people are not in general.

you can't eat gold. you can't eat bullets either. saying that gold has no real worth is like saying someday men will no longer desire sex with beautiful women. although this is possible, it is not likely.

My quote of the week comes from the Chinese. One person wrote the following statement to Geithner after he kept promising a strong dollar: "It would be helpful if Geithner showed us some arithmetic.

Katwoman just Nailed the the dollar, it's future, and the USA's national financial picture to perfection with simply this:

The dollar is done being propped up and is going back down. The news about India confirmed the lack of confidence the rest of the world has in the dollar and that it is diversifying out of it. This is major signal from the IMF and it really means the USDs days as reserve currency are numbered. They will try to control the run out of the dollar but it will most likely happen faster than they want.

The FED will have to start monetizing debt and overt inflation will follow on short order.

This is it. Unless congress announces a plan to pay down trillions of dollars in debt or to cut trillions in government spending by significantly cutting entitlements the dollar is done. In fact, even i congress did these things the USD is done.
