Has anyone bought from sunshinesilver.com? Are they good to deal with?

I have about 230 oz of Sunshine silver but I haven't bought any of it from them.
Just make sure any place you buy from will guarantee a delivery date, if they won't, move on.

Sunshine is one of the most reputable sources in the U.S. The government buys from Sunshine, all of the planchets they use to strike Silver Eagles, & have done so since 2001 when the Gobermint reportedly ran out of all the reserve silver it had accumulated over the years.

IF...they have silver Eagles, those are some of the best prices I've seen. Rolls of silver eagles on Ebay, if you can find them, are approaching $500 a roll. But their own Sunshine silver eagles are $386 per roll and the U.S. Eagles are $414.
Boy, if there's no delay times on delivery this might be the place to order silver from!! Anyone have any dealings with these guys yet??

They said there's no wait time......called them.

I got 50 american eagles for 19.00 each today. I'm satisfied...they're not shiny new but I don't care.

The shop offered me about 20 dirty gold plated silver american eagles for 19.00 each....I'm a newby. Buy them? How do I test them for authenticity?

I just got off the phone with them (her) and I can say right here right now that there's no silver shortage here. Think about it. Even though the silver is shipped out of Tacoma WA via GoldMasters (a VERY REPUTABLE COMPANY. I know of them as they're my good friends' cousin. I swear to God I'm NOT making that up. But you don't know me either. Due diligence, check em out) they're hooked right up to the mine.
Again, there's no silver shortage here. They can get you "whatever you need".

Don't confuse Sunshine "Eagles" with U.S. government struck U.S. (American) Silver Eagles.

Sunshine Eagles are privately minted 1 ounce silver "rounds" and very popular in the U.S.

U.S. government struck Eagles are modern bullion coins: 1 oz. of .999 fine silver, legal tender, and government guarantee re content and purity of metal.

Sunshine Eagles trade at 50 to 75-cents over spot.
U.S. Silver Eagles trade at $1.50-2.00 over spot.

New subject:
The U.S. Eagles you are reporting are a great deal at $19.00 with current spot at $18.38. Don't hesitate to grab them. Tarnished silver shows it's silver and does not hurt the value of the coin....just doesn't have the shiney eye-appeal.

If you want them shiney, use the hot water, aluminum foil, and baking soda process. It will make them look like new - cheap, fast, easy, and safe. If you don't know how to do it let me know and I'll tell you.

I'm not Goldminer but you're not wrong either. Those are genuine American Silver Eagles they show there that are available right now.
Also, the U.S.Mint uses silver blanks that are the same ones Sunshine Silver uses when they strike their silver Eagles. So there's NO DIFFERENCE in the quality of the silver as they're EXACTLY the same thing from the same manufacturer.

www.sunshinesilver.com

From their website:

"The one ounce silver blanks used in minting the Sunshine
Silver Eagles are the same used by the United States Mint
in minting the American Silver Eagle Silver Dollar Coins"

So if there's NO DIFFERENCE, save yourself the (almost) $1.50 premium they want for those EXPENSIVE U.S. SILVER EAGLES and buy the Sunshine rounds instead as they're EXACTLY the same thing, which is 1 ounce of .999 Fine Idaho Silver.

Can any one comment on the shipping charges from Sunshine Silver? I'm very interested in 20 of the Sunshine Silver Eagles.

The shipping isn't bad for 20oz, $12.50, or about 6.5%. That's close enough to the sales tax around here that I wouldn't bother, I'd go support a local dealer instead. Of course, I'm not all that picky about what happens to be stamped on the outside of my sliver either, as long as all the metal I'm paying for is there.

For my last order I decided to try to get around shipping by buying from NWT. They offer free shipping on orders over about 50oz. They got my money about two weeks ago, and I don't expect to see any sliver for another two weeks, but that's ok with me if I can get it for a bit less.

Yeah, I'll do that. My local dealer has some pretty good bullion prices, even with his markup, and bullion over $500 I pay no sales tax in Florida.
