2 Ben Franklin Half Dollars for $4.99
You just have to listen to 2 other sales pitches for over-priced coins. Just agree to the first offer for $4.99 and say No thanks to the other two. Be careful because the operators are persistent and keep trying to push them on you, just say no thanks politely. It will take you about 5 minutes...not as good as the $4.99 silver eagle, but still a nice deal nonetheless..

Oops, I may have to eat my words. I found my CC has been billed $4.95 on 3-21, so I may get my Silver Eagle yet.
And I believe the Discovery deal was $4.95, Not $4.99.

Got my 2 Franklin half dollars today. Both are 1952 and are probably VG+. Good deal for $4.95.

I just ordered my two Franklin Halves...
Gotta love their high pressure sales tactics trying to get you to buy two more for $40 lol

I just experienced talking to this company, and I was put-off immediately by, "what credit card account number will you be using today?" I at least like to get a stroke or two, before I get Scr****. Further queries yielded identification from them, and yes, there is a 2 Ben deal for shipping...but their main thrust was two more Bens for $40 and/or 3 Morgans to review, for $40...to be charged 3 more monthly payments of $40, if you keep them. But Wait! That's not all...they will send you 3 new Morgans every month, to review...to combine with the EASY payments you're already making on the ones you reviewed last month. Combined total...if you don't pay attention...is $159.80/month. This deal is a risk, as you must depend on the operator not to click the deals you don't want. Their honor is questionable, as there are complaints about receiving deals that were not agreed to. Please review: http://search.newyork.bbb.org/reports.aspx?pid=44&page=1&id=82854 for a detailed report of litigation.
If I had a credit card with a $25 limit...I would risk it...but I didn't feel up to the hassle of un-tangling nefarious practices from my debit card.
Just an FYI...have a great day.

Just goes to show you their are no freebies in this world. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. There's always some kind of a catch. Bummer!

LOL, why wuold you put yourself thru that for 2 Franklins? Once these type of people get your number, good luck getting rid of them. I HATE that type of sales tactic, I have better things to do with my day.

They better not try to charge the card number I gave them. I had used the card in a local grocery chain that had their computer hacked and CC numbers were stolen, so the account I used for the silver eagle and Franklin's I got from Discovery was closed by my CC company.

It's a pretty high pressure sale I'll admit but as long as you firmly say "NO" without any hesitation in your voice they back off right away and go on to the next deal, then after that they just stop. $5 for 2 Franklins is too good a deal to pass up, even if it does take a couple minutes on the phone.
Also, I believe it said that all calls were recorded before I got through to a person, so there should be hard evidence that you refused the other "deals"
EDIT: I just looked at my account summary online and they charged my card the $4.95 for the 2 Franklins and no more. That was pretty quick and it seems they aren't trying anything funny.
