Deadly and Dangerous series or Treasures of Australia? Others? What are opinions of long term outlook for these sorts of coins? Does anyone have any historical facts about eventual values of other series?

Most popular have been Deadly and Dangerous (3 coins limited to 5000 each yr -2006, 2007 2008 where Red Spider went from something like $67 from Perth Mint to $700-$995 on fleabay. 2007 Great White Shark welling for over $100 and ocotpus over $100. Treasures of Australia (7500 per year-2006 2007 2008 ) coins have doubled or better after very fast mint sell outs. The 2006 silver Sapphires went for $73 USD now over $300. Treasures have 2 more releases 2010 and 2011. Latest flyer may be the Golden Age of Piracy set-1500 minted- most held by collectors considered the finest coin set ever made by Perth Mint. Speculators bought them expecting them to double. Some coming online now.

Will values continue or dive?

I collect kooks and lunars. I love them all. There is nothing like a 1 kilo coin. Simply stunning. The variety of kooks from year to year is increadible. Not like ASE's where the only thing that changes is the date. I'm not too keen on QEII's sour puss, but I try not to look at that side of the coin.

I don't even think about the future resale prices (premium above spot). The fact that I like them so much, makes me keep them as my core holdings. My bars and generics are for selling when the time comes.
