I dip mine too using e-Z-est Coin Cleaner. I recently picked up a one kilo J&M bar that was tarnished to the max. One dip and that thing looks as good as yours there!
And why not? If you like nice shiny silver what else are you going to do...hand rub them?? While it's a germicide and I doubt there's many microscopic bugs running around on it, silver looks better when it shines!!
