Question about my 100 oz silver bar

A few months ago i purchased a 100 oz johnson and matthey silver bar from a dealer that been in business for 40 odd years.Anyways today i had a look at the bar and notice it doesnt have a serial number on it?It has the johnson and matthey canada logo on it and says 100+ oz 999 on it,but no serial number on it :? Then i had a look at other 100 oz silver bars and they seem to all have serial number on it? this seems odd and was wondering if i should be worried about it.Here is a picture

I have Johnson Matthey 5kg bars, non of which bear a serial number. They have a similar manufacturers stamp.

It is very common for older poured bars to have no serial numbers on them.
