What the hell ever happened to freedom from taxation without representation.
Right after Obama announces how he is going to cut frivolous programs to reduce deficit spending this is announced:
"United States aid for the Gaza Strip's reconstruction will likely top $900 million, an official said, as U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton prepared to make her first Mideast trip as America's top diplomat."
What is congress doing authorizing donating our tax dollars for reconstruction in another country when we have not even completed dealing with the after math of Katrina and cannot afford to run our own country within a fixed budget?
That's the last f-ing straw!!

You authorized this nonsense [figuratively anyway] when you voted these yahoos into office. We are all culpable here. Irrespective of your personal vote, the majority spoke, and this is what we got. They are your representation, and if they are not acting in what you feel are your best interests, then it is your duty to speak up and let them know what your wishes are.
I am not an apologist for these idiots, rather I am a believer in the Constitution as it was written, and until it changes it is the system we are stuck with. Too many people have been poisoned by the promise of manna from these criminals, and now they have voted them in!
We have been borrowing money to sponsor worldwide altruism for decades now, and we won't stop until the collapse is over.

You can start by reading the constitution
Second you can write your congressman today
Third everyone needs to actually unite together to do something rather than asking what can "a" person do.

No one authorized it, time for mutiny. We are being gutted and bled from within, yet the dog still has a smile on her face as the parasites parade "all's well" dog for the sheep to obey. Sad:(

I believe many would agree with you Katwoman.
Where is the representation when our representative refuse to act on behalf of the will of their constituents? Instead we have representatives who preach and believe that we the people know not what is best, but they of course do.
As far as our responsibility of voting them in: We can only vote for those on the ballot. And those on the ballot are strategically and financially put there by our failed two party system.
Until the majority realizes there is no real difference between the two parties, the current system will continue to provide us with no real choice and no real change.
Ultimately, it is our government that will be the big loser. While we have been, and continue to be forced into tightening our belts and lessoning our debt, government continues to expand and spend. It is destined to fail.

I admire your dedication and the time and effort it took to draft that sir. I'd like to blog it and give you credit it for as well. Excellent!
To pick your brain: How do you think things would change or would they if each corporation, organization, or any group of people were limited in their campaign contributions to the same sum as the People.... (Currently $2300.00) ??
There's more of us than them.
