I don't know AL, It is worth thinking about anyway. A case of decent scotch and a case of vodka might be as valuable as silver at some point. Actually, a fifth of decent scotch can be had for an ounce and a half of silver right now, and vodka can be had for an ounce.

When TSHTF, booze could be used as an anesthetic, antiseptic, muscle relaxer and general calmative tonic. There are those out there who drink occasionally, and I am one of them. I would trade booze for ammo any day.

head back to the source to get more....one way or another....nobody
"needs" booze for any reason....and if they do, they have a serious

Booze tho- could be... well- a prop if one is burglarized. Knowing a crook wants in and out fast- seeing booze might take attention away from the mattress.

Also- be cautious about how many knives are in your kitchen. They can break in- go to the kitchen drawer- and bong0-- an easy weapon.

I do have a few pills put back. Gosh- men is prison make their own booze. But pills- in event of a supply disruption, would be more value.

I really would not be that scared of owning booze during a crisis since it is not that hard to make. I would be much more concerned about someone trying to steal my silver or my guns and ammo.

Silver does a great job of killing bacteria in my water and my body. I haven't had any need whatsoever for booze for better than 25 years, and trust me, I won't in the future either.

Personal preference I guess so whatever works for your body can't be knocked. I have a glass of wine every night and also never get sick. However, I am pretty sure you cannot use silver as an a anesthetic so all I can say is good luck coping with any issues that require one. But, I guess you can always PM one of us who uses ethanol as a remedy if you need some in a emergency.
