Mick,
I suspect that this, as with anything we see on television is part bullshit and partly from the heart. Beck is an unusual individual, who is in constant battle with his own demons, and bears consideration from time to time based solely on the particular prescience of his statements. He is clearly an intelligent person, with a love of his country difficult to compare to another.

When viewing these individuals or listening to them on the AM band, I absorb what I like and dismiss the rest. We are all tuned differently, yet we all understand harmony. When discussion relates to a particular view that I hold, or agrees with my own sentiments, then my ears open and I stop listening so that I can hear.

No one man has the answers to our ills, and unfortunately, too many people are hoping for a messiah [witness: our President].

I believe the answers to be within the hearts of those good people who remember a time of peace and prosperity, brought about by the very individuals who returned from a terrible war with a singular pride in what America was and the tenets upon which she was founded.

While I was born in '63, amid the turmoil of the hippie revolution, I long for the day when pride in my country was implicit.

What say you?

True, he does go places others on the MSM won't. Believe him or not, he does try to get the word out. Do you suppose this is the reason he moved from CNN to Fix News???
