The White House press secretary responded to Santelli by accusing him of being insensitive and not knowing what he's talking about.

The arrogance of power knows no bounds. This guy Obmana looks like he's going to be big hit.

Go to read some of the comments posted by some of the dumbest posts in the history of blogging.

My particular favorites are these, because apparently some people aren't smart enough to know which channel all this occurred:

Don't know if you have ever noticed but repubs can only get their point across by screaming and yelling, and by talking over the top of others.

"I watch the national and cable news and i swear i heard all the ranting about how great Obama is. So with this stimilus package i get $13 extra a week and the people on unemployment get $25.00 extra a week."

Small minds, get small money…

Right on, Robert Gibbs! I watched the news conference today, and I suspect that the "cable news" he was referring to is……. "Faux News"! There is a lot of ranting going on on Faux News. And Gibbs is right, Santelli does not know what he is talking about!

For a while now, I have suspected (gee that sounds paranoid! oops.) that the conservatives on Wall Street are holding back from entering the market to make a point. No surprise there!

With the Democrats in control the fat cats will see their nice tax breaks disappear! As the old saying goes "to whom much is given, much is asked".

As much as I don't respect neo-con Rush, he has a point when he says that "liberals" don't reason, they feel.

I saw the messiah's mouthpiece talking smack to Santelli. It is so funny to see these clowns attack the man instead of the message.

Have you noticed how CNBC is riding Santelli's comments like they were the hero's for the common man? He is the only one on the show with any guts, but the rest of them are sounding off like it was their idea. Funny!

I wish someone would tell that phucking pork chop Gibbs to shut his pie hole. I was watching him stumble his way through something this morning, that guy needs some serious speech lessons. I have never heard so many "uh's" in my life in one speech. Really, what phucking rock did he crawl out from under?

About the truth All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident." Arthur Schopenhauer

Obama is in the ridicule stage.

I also listened to that douchbag of a Whitehouse spokesman (read: muppet) sarcastically accuse Rick Santelli of "not understanding" the Deadbeat Bailout Bill (not to be confused with the now innumerable Rich Deadbeat Bailout Bills). I think rather strongly that it is the White House and Congress, and all their associated sycophants, who do not understand --- about economics, about reality, and about the rage that is building against them among the general public who chose to be even slightly aware of what is going on in Washington and Wall Street today.

Hmmm. He may not be the only one that should give some thought to taking speech lessons.

The White House wants to silence all nay sayers. They will institute their "fairness doctrine". We need a bunch of Guys with some influence to make a stink about our "public serpents" not reading this 1100 page monstrosity, along with a good grass roots effort to expose their idiocity. I know I try to educate as many people as I can about the truth.

Cute WND headline: "The Revolution WILL be televised"

LOL

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tIphS8PwOw

"Hairy armed women liberationists" LOL!

The Revolution wont be no rerun brother, the revolution will be live."

What a hoot! Looks like R24 and Santelli can kick back. Gil Scott has it covered.

You will not be able to stay home, brother.
You will not be able to plug in, turn on and cop out.
You will not be able to lose yourself on skag and skip,
Skip out for beer during commercials,
Because the revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be televised.
The revolution will not be brought to you by Xerox
In 4 parts without commercial interruptions.
The revolution will not show you pictures of Nixon
blowing a bugle and leading a charge by John
Mitchell, General Abrams and Spiro Agnew to eat
hog maws confiscated from a Harlem sanctuary.
The revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be brought to you by the
Schaefer Award Theatre and will not star Natalie
Woods and Steve McQueen or Bullwinkle and Julia.
The revolution will not give your mouth sex appeal.
The revolution will not get rid of the nubs.
The revolution will not make you look five pounds
thinner, because the revolution will not be televised, Brother.

There will be no pictures of you and Willie May
pushing that shopping cart down the block on the dead run,
or trying to slide that color television into a stolen ambulance.
NBC will not be able predict the winner at 8:32
or report from 29 districts.
The revolution will not be televised.

There will be no pictures of pigs shooting down
brothers in the instant replay.
There will be no pictures of pigs shooting down
brothers in the instant replay.
There will be no pictures of Whitney Young being
run out of Harlem on a rail with a brand new process.
There will be no slow motion or still life of Roy
Wilkens strolling through Watts in a Red, Black and
Green liberation jumpsuit that he had been saving
For just the proper occasion.

Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies, and Hooterville
Junction will no longer be so damned relevant, and
women will not care if Dick finally gets down with
Jane on Search for Tomorrow because Black people
will be in the street looking for a brighter day.
The revolution will not be televised.

There will be no highlights on the eleven o'clock
news and no pictures of hairy armed women
liberationists and Jackie Onassis blowing her nose.
The theme song will not be written by Jim Webb,
Francis Scott Key, nor sung by Glen Campbell, Tom
Jones, Johnny Cash, Englebert Humperdink, or the Rare Earth.
The revolution will not be televised.

The revolution will not be right back after a message
bbout a white tornado, white lightning, or white people.
You will not have to worry about a dove in your
bedroom, a tiger in your tank, or the giant in your toilet bowl.
The revolution will not go better with Coke.
The revolution will not fight the germs that may cause bad breath.
The revolution will put you in the driver's seat.

The revolution will not be televised, will not be televised,
will not be televised, will not be televised.
The revolution will be no re-run brothers;
The revolution will be live.

I for one, am glad to see that someone with direct access to the media has grown a set and spoken the truth.

He will be censured at the very least, crucified at the worst. The White House does not want the People to have too much information, because they could then make their own choices.

We can't have that now can we?

Judge Napolitano had a panel on his show the other day and they were speaking with Ron Paul about the bailout and every one the panel was visibly angry. One woman whose name I forget was repeatedly calling the stimulus bill and the way it was handled a bunch of crap.

IMHO any White House attempt to silence rational thought will backfire.

I got the sense that CNBC had silenced Santelli for the last six months. Now he bursts out in a rant and CNBC decides to exploit that just like they did with Cramer, so apparently every evil hath its good. They'll keep on with this because it increases ratings. Santelli is a bright guy, so it will be interesting to see how far he will go with this. Go, Ricky . . . .
