This nation is about to experience shock and awe alright but I do not think it will be of the type the federal government and MSM want us to believe is coming.

Hang on kiddies the going is about to get tough and you know when that happens the tough will have to get going.

It's already tough kiddo.

I have been watching the self reinforcing spiral of job losses in Florida for over 18 months now. Many of our neighbors are unemployed through no fault of their own, and are currently struggling to pay bills and eat. For the next few years, the Government will continue to meddle with the economy by pouting trillions more dollars into the black hole of banking. This process ends either with the People being saddled with the debts they wish to pile into an "aggregator bank", or through outright nationalization. Fannie, Freddie and Sallie are in deep shit, and the boneheads in charge [read: Barney "everything's OK"] Frank] want to lower their capital ratios even more.

Times are tough now, but they will get a whole lot worse. We may see a tiny bounce with this wastefull pork chop festival they passed last evening, but it will be short lived, and accomplish nothing permanent.

Now is the time to put up a year and a half to two years worth of food, and pile up as much silver and gold as you can. It's going to be a very rough road, so buckle up.

Insight yes. Insider info no. But as a woman I have a secret little thing in my gut that drives me to protect and nurture my loved ones and right now it is screaming like never before in my life. And FYI, it is very rarely wrong about who/what to trust and who/what not to trust and right now I have absolutely no confidence in the United States government or our fiat currency. Obama and his liberal buddies are putting on a great show but unless they come up with a more sustainable fiscal policy and a serious financial plan to solve our economic crisis we are in deep financial doo doo.

I think the real issue is gonna come if or when you have so many desperate people that local forces can't contain them. Then the federal government intervenes and possibly declares martial law*. That is when people will stop believing in this nonsense about bailouts and it will dawn on them that things could and probably will get worse.

*Government does whatever they want in the name of greater good, like internment camps for troublemakers, like people who don't want to pay taxes so they can feed their families or anyone one who speaks out against the messiah's policy.

I am going to keep posting the following passage until I get the feeling that people understand what the founding fathers would do in this situation and thus what we all need to start doing right now if we really want to solve this problem for "ourselves". If "we" do not have the courage to remove these bums from office then we have no right to call ourselves Americans anymore. This is "our" country and our elected officials are obligated to work for "us" not against us. If they cannot understand this they need to be removed from office immediately before they can do anymore damage to our country. The constitution says they cannot print money that is not backed in gold or silver and this violation alone is sufficient to charge them with treason. And IMHO we should do so immediately and then hold an emergency election to replace them all with a new "Guards" who recognizes that we mean business.

"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

I like your fire and energy Kat; glad you joined us.

Things are moving fast. Just last month, there was still a huge deflation/inflation debate, non-believers about the FEMA camps, etc., and a bit more mystery as to where America is heading, but the cards have been laid on the table now, and it our destiny is coming much clearing into view. Five months ago, I was storing food just-in-case. It's not just-in-case anymore.

Welcome Kat, you blew a resounding call to duty. So how do we get this out to the masses though?
