This is worth a read.


I would normally dismiss out of hand something written by someone so young, but nuggets can pop up anywhere. Instead of listening to your stockbroker who is pushing the hot new ETF that's big in the news today, maybe you should listen to the one who thought that a few shares of this might be a good small addition to a balanced portfolio.

I'm not a stockbroker, so ask your stockbroker for the analysis on Freeport, but from the standpoint of a commodity broker who looks at timing and prices, I would be watching for Copper to give up some of the hyped, inflated price and settle down a bit, maybe nearer to $3.80 before I threw any money at any Copper investments.
