The dividend is going to be the price appreciation to the share price as they are about as low as I have seen some of them, after this market turns around....I mean the price of silver and gold goes up. I have noticed that when they do declare a dividend it tends to be almost MISERLY as most of the dividends that I have seen announced these past few months/weeks by mining companies amount to a PALTRY .01 cent a share. Why that amount is popular I'm sure there's some kind of reason though I don't know it. Otherwise I'm hard pressed to think about a MAJOR MINING COMPANY (with a silver focus no less) that pays a real dividend, especially in these days and times....

They're a financial company specifically devoted to mining. They invest in junior miners, organise funding and have an advisory service. They're a very gold and silver proxy play and pay around 8% dividend at these levels.

They're not a silver stock but they've been paying a 19.4% dividend. Of course they do produce silver as a byproduct;).

They closed at $13.35 today. They averaged around $35 for the first half of the year. If you believe that commodities will recover it could be a bargain opportunity.

That's impressive! And as good as some of the Canadian energy trust funds that are currently available to investors. I recently started an account with Euro-Pacific Capital and they're known for investing in foreign stocks. I was especially surprised to see that EVERY company that they invested some of my money in, no matter how inexpensive the share price was, EVERY one of those companies pays a dividend.
The point here being that as long as this dividend is stable through their end of the year calculations, this is a VERY DESIRABLE trait for any stock, let alone any kind of mining stock near their 52 week low. You can see how valuable good DD would be in regards to helping make the right decision on whether to invest some money here or not in the future. It's worth checking out and keeping an eye on.
Thanks for the tip!!!
