Iam probably in the wrong forum but maybe someone can help anyway. I have about 6 ibs of silver or silver alloy Ive melted off of electrical contacts. Can anyone tell me where I can sell this stuff? Thanks, Ron

Did you refine it or simply melt it down? If you melted it down and didn't refine it first, then you really have no idea of the actual silver content. You will probably need to have it assayed before you sell it. I'm sure if you contact any bullion dealer they will be able to inform you of such details.

Ive done neither Bill. I just melted the contact away from the copper so there are many pieces. What is the best way to approach this?
