I would like to find a good stock newsletter. Does anyone have a personal favorite? I would like to find one that focuses on the stuff I can't do like visit operations.

I take it you're meaning a precious metal focused mining stock newsletter?? I have a subscription to Doug Casey's Int"l Speculator (www.caseyresearch.com/casey-services/international-speculator/ ) and BIG Gold. As a fellow Libertarian, free market type that believes in the Austrian economic model, like the editors of these two newsletters, their opinion is as valuable as their mining stock reco's. They frequently contact and visit the companies that they recommend and also do not prevent employees from putting their money where their mouth is and that's to invest in what they recommend. Like insider ownership of a company, I know they have an interest in preserving their money, just like their customers and so not every mining operation they look at is eventually recommended. They are very discriminating when it comes to their reco's and have a pretty good track record. The Int'l Speculator is just that and it gives highly speculative reco's world wide in both base and precious metals. BIG Gold ( www.caseyresearch.com/casey-services/big-gold/ ) focuses on the large(r) producing miners and is more pointed to (of course) the gold investor looking for profits in BIG Gold producers. LOTS of great analysis on several fine companies plus the in's and out's of the gold market, BIG Gold IMHO is well worth the subscription price.

I also have a subscription to David Morgan's Silver-Investor and that's my primary resource in making decisions regarding all things silver. I enjoy his commentary and let's face it, the guy knows silver! Reasonably priced with great interviews and lots of knowledge about the silver market, David Morgan has great perspective on silver and the free market angle most precious metal investors also share.

I also subscribe to BIG Gold and The Morgan Report. Both are highly informative. Also with the Casey Research subscription you get very insightful daily market updates, called 'Casey Daily Resource' on all things resources with special attention on gold and silver. Both are very reasonably priced and well worth the subscription fee.

Me too. I get their BIG Gold and their Energy Speculator newsletters. I'm on my second renewal so if I thought their advice or political writings bogus, I would have never re-upped for another term. They're both great reading and are among the highlights of publications I now get.
