Hello all.
This is my first post after finding this forum! I currently have PM, but would like to begin investing in stocks.
I've chosen the following:
Pan American (PAAS): Strong company, manageable debt, good management
SNS Silver (SNS-OTC): I think this stock is going to go up in to $3-5 range over the next few years as they have made great strides in production with virtually no added expense. Yadda yadda yadda.
Silver Wheaton (SLW): One of the few silver-only expansion mines, that owns portions in many operations
Couer d'Alene (CDE): Cheap, and I can't help think it won't go up long term, especially with recent announcements, but also ties nicely to SLW.
The biggest question I have is with regards to SNS. Generally OTC stocks are frowned upon, especially since there is no guarantee that they will sell when you want them to.
- How does one purchase SNS?
- Is is better to go through a Canadian Broker and purchase on TSX
opposed to NYSE?
Any other thoughts on the stocks I've picked would be appreciated. I'll continue purchasing physical silver, as it's the only guarantee out there, but I think most of the mining companies have just about hit bottom.
Peace,
Mike
